Biography:

I graduated in 2014 from University of Girona, Science Faculty, where I did my BSc in Biotechnology. My BSc thesis was entitled "Computational modelling of the formation of potentially mutagenic DNA adducts of ultraviolet light", which was performed in the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC), Girona. During this time, I had the opportunity to learn more about bioinformatics and it made me discover a field that generated me curiosity and motivation to continue learning in this direction. In the same year, I began my MSc in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences in Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona. In 2015-2016 I did an internship in Prof. Bujnicki's laboratory (IIMCB, Warsaw), were I completed my MSc thesis entitled "Discovery of Yellow fever virus methyltransferase inhibitors by receptor based virtual screening".

In August 2017 I joined Prof. Kaminska's laboratory as a PhD student here at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology.
