Salwador Cyranowski

Biography:

I started my first year of undergraduate education at the University of Edinburgh (UK) in 2011 majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I then continued my degree at the University of Warsaw where I obtained my BSc and MSc in Biotechnology. During that time I was awarded scholarships for internships at New York University, USA (2014) and the University of Lisbon, Portugal (2015) where I studied molecular pathology of Alzheimer’s Disease and the behavioural interplay of dopamine and oxytocin, respectively. In 2016 I participated in the Visiting Research Graduate Trainee Program at the University of Virginia (USA) where I completed a year long training in immunotherapy of melanoma. Since 2017 I have been happy to be a part of the Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology as a PhD candidate here at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology. Since 2020 I have been enrolled in an MD programme at the Warsaw Medical University.
